DIY or Call Us?

There’s a safe middle ground here, and then there’s where DIY goes wrong.

What you can check: Verify the reservoir has fluid and the pickup tube is submerged. Confirm the power switch at the pump housing is on. Some Rotobrush units have a separate breaker for the sanitizing circuit. Look for obvious kinks in the visible hose section. These checks cost nothing and solve maybe 15% of the calls we get.

Where DIY goes wrong: The sanitizing agents used in ductwork are EPA-registered antimicrobials, not household cleaners. Misapplication means you’re breathing concentrated chemistry, or you’re treating the duct surface unevenly and leaving live colonies that regrow faster.
